About HD Tyres (Pty) Ltd

Registered in 1990 as an OTR tyre company, HD Tyres (Pty) Ltd provides service to OTR tyre operators in Africa. HD Tyres (Pty) Ltd has operated from the beginning in accordance with Rema Tip Top procedures and using Rema Tip Top equipment and materials.

In Jun 2001 HD Tyres (Pty) Ltd was purchased by Petru Morar, a young and dynamic businessman determined to bring the company to new heights. He startedd implementing top industry standards with regards to repair procedures and limitations, tyre management systems and qualified training, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Certifications

HD Tyres (Pty) Ltd have several individually certified repair facilities and do not make use of an umbrella certificate for their repair factories. These individual repair factories get audited by Rema Tip Top on a yearly basis and only if they comply with all the required standards do they get recertified for another year.
